Kupang, E Nusa Tenggara (ANTARA News) - An earthquake of magnitude 4.5 hit northwest of East Flores District, East Nusa Tenggara Province, on Monday morning (4/3).

The quake that struck at 6:51 a.m. local time was centered 20 kilometers northwest of East Flores at a depth of 24 kilometers, according to the Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG).

Based on a report from the local residents, the quake of II Marcelli Modified Intensity (MMI), was felt in Larantuka, capital of East Flores District. There was no immediate report of material damage.
