Kupang, E Nusa Tenggara (Antara NTT) - The provincial administration of East Nusa Tenggara and Australia are exploring cooperation on tourism, through a business meeting held in Sydney on Thursday.
Head of East Nusa Tenggara Provincial Tourism Office, Marius Ardu Jelamu, stated via a phone call telephone from Sydney, Australia, with Antara here on Thursday that the business meeting was facilitated by the Indonesian Consulate General in Sydney.
"In the business meeting, we explained to Australia the various tourism potentials in East Nusa Tenggara, which need to be developed through cooperation," he noted.
A number of aspects discussed in the meeting included various tourism potentials, infrastructure, and human resource development to support tourism.
According to Marius, the tourism development of East Nusa Tenggara is a sector that still needed a lot of investment.
"We continue to convince Australians that tourism investment opportunities in East Nusa Tenggara are still wide open," he remarked.
