Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara (AntaraNews NTT) - Two international standard hotels are being built in West Manggarai district town of Labuan Bajo in Flores Island, East Nusa Tenggara province, according to West Manggarai District Head Agustinus Ch Dula.
"The two hotels with international standard under construction are Ayana and Marina hotels with the capacity of 200 rooms and 180 rooms. respectively," Dula remarked here on Sunday.
He explained that the two international hotels are constructed as part of preparation to welcome the participants and guests of the International Monetary Fund-World Bank (IMF-WB) annual meeting in Bali in October 2018.
According to him, a tour package to Labuan Bajo is being offered to the participants of the IMF-WB annual meeting, and therefore, the hotels and other accommodations are being prepared for them.
Dula said the construction of the two international hotels must be completed by August in order to accommodate the the IMF-WB annual meeting participants when they visit Labuan Bajo after the meeting.
"The construction must be sped up in order to be completed before October, at least by August," the West Manggarai district head remarked.
He explained that Labuan Bajo as a national priority tourist destination famous for the Komodo National Park, is one of the leading tour packages offered by the central government to the participants of the IMF-WB annual meeting.
