20 Chinese investors confirm attendance at investment forum

A total of 20 Chinese investors have confirmed their plan to attend an investment forum to be held in the East Nusa Tenggara provincial capital of Kupang on November 16, 2019.
Kupang, E Nusa Tenggara (ANTARA) - A total of 20 Chinese investors have confirmed their plan to attend an investment forum to be held in the East Nusa Tenggara provincial capital of Kupang on November 16, 2019.

"We have just received a notification from China that 20 investors will surely attend the investment forum in Kupang," Consul of the Chinese Consulate General in Denpasar, Bali, Li Changda stated on Thursday.

Moreover, tens of businessmen from the provinces of East Nusa Tenggara, West Nusa Tenggara, and Bali will congregate for the investment forum.

"Some 200 participants comprising entrepreneurs and trade officials will attend the investment forum," he revealed.

He affirmed that the Chinese investors partaking in the forum are successful businessmen engaged in the fields of construction, energy, electricity, logistics, fishery, agriculture and husbandry, among others.

He is upbeat about the forum leading to the inking of mutually beneficial cooperation agreements between Chinese investors and their Indonesian counterparts.

Bali-based Chinese Consul General Gou Handong noted in a separate statement that he had, on numerous occasions, brought Chinese investors to East Nusa Tenggara, Bali, and West Nusa Tenggara to offer them insights into the investment opportunities there.

"We will always make an effort to facilitate meetings between Chinese entrepreneurs and their counterparts from East Nusa Tenggara, Bali, and West Nusa Tenggara. We are optimistic about them inking mutually beneficial cooperation agreements," he added.
